If in another`s shoes I walked
I wonder what I`d find,
Would it be contentment
With everlasting peace of mind? .
Would my gra** be greener
My pathway paved with gold,
Or would I gather problems
I`d pray I could unload? .
Could I find, just maybe
My own shoes, `though not shining bright,
I`d walk on air, again to wear
As I sang in great delight? .
I fear reality could hit me
Straight between my eyes,
As I nursed my blisters
`Cause others shoes were not my size.
