A little care or tenderness Would help a day go by, For the old or weak who don`t complain (Maybe some just sit and cry) . Who spend their days in loneliness Often in one room, Expecting nothing from the world at large While they exist in their twilight gloom. So sad even one life is left lingering
When a kind word could make it shine, Bringing comfort to a lonely person Who otherwise would sit and pine. I`ll try to redeem myself tomorrow Is all that I can say, But I should have taken at least a smile To a lonely soul today.
