This kinda feelin’ like sleep paralysis in a realm unreached by the hourglass Ssshhh… It’s kinda freein’ bein’ powerless Dreams so sweet Imma need dialysis I could breath the water. Inhale the seas and speak the salt back One, two, three, four sheep to the slaughter fu*k the flock. Leave the dog pack Luminescent. I’m lucid here Truth’s a question. The ruse is clear Aloof but present, doomed but eager You can take my ego as a souvenir Seduced by fears into languor. Anchored to the lunar sphere I think I’m losin’ years Skin talks, “You were never truly here.” This is not my hallucination. This not my beautiful poem I am just an intruder, an alien. Who meandered into a funeral home The crowd, uncanny. The the tomb enclosed I found my family, confused, reposed They looked right past me, through my skull Of course, it was my tomb all along I can’t leave here but I don’t mind the scenery I can’t see clear but I don’t really need to see Confined inside a dreamery Willfully resigned to this dreamery This an epilogue. A driftwood home in a gentle squall The edges lost. No evident direction in this endless fog I’m stretched across the breadth of my inventor's tepid yawn A vessel drawn into a tempting maw. Flesh and bone. Why wrestle gods?
Senseless in a ramshackle shelter. Swimmin’ in the mist of the swell The tempest ripped my craft from its progression and left me as a splintered self in this distant realm Gripping a helm no longer steering. Calmed by delirium Sequestered in this exquisite cell Can’t lift my head. Don’t lift that spell If I live to tell, it’s a myth at best. If I give in now I could miss my chance The whispers know. They listen back. The blisters form and wince and foam and crack Peel it back. Hail the new flesh. Seal the maps. Bury the true exits Steal a dance with a lavish devil in the pale moon’s essence You'll feel the breath of release when the death rattle cease. Not after or yet Free to be captive at peace. Shackled at last the pleasures we seek You know the price. You wanna follow a fantasy gotta close your eyes That’s the cost of living a dream: forgo your mind I can’t leave here but I don’t mind the scenery I can’t see clear but I don’t really need to see Confined inside a dreamery Willfully resigned to this dreamery I can’t leave here but I don’t mind the scenery I can’t see clear but I don’t really need to see Confined inside a dreamery Willfully resigned to this dreamery
