I stood in the morgue, frozen to the spot, unmoving and in shock.
I couldn't believe this had happened. I prayed, prayed that this was a dream, but to no avail there was no one that would pinch me awake and say that this was a dream.
This was reality.
I felt a pain fill my heart as it beat hysterically, I didn't want to believe this, I didn't want to believe this at all. I wanted this to be a dream, a made up dream with no reality whatsoever. But that wouldn't happen, the world was conspiring against me. The world was always conspiring against me. Nothing good ever happened, it was always bad news after bad news and loss after loss. Truth be told, I might as well have a nail hammered into my heart, d**h felt so much more inviting; at least then I wouldn't have to feel this unbearable piercing pain.
I cringed, as the sickeningly metallic stench of blood filled my nostrils, causing bile to rise in my throat as tears pricked my eyes, the sight of her pale body made me shiver in fear as my heart clenched in agonizing pain.
Why was the world this bitter and horrid? What did Rosa ever do to those despicable humans. No, they didn't deserve the name of humans, they were despicable inhumane monsters, monsters that deserve to rot in hell.
'They'll get what they deserve' I thought, rea**uring my grief stricken conscience.
They'll get what they deserve.
