Sunday evening on the other side of town
Her face looks worried as we sigh
Outside, November howls through streets of shattered gla**
Can you say something or will you just stay like that?
But for her there's just no way to say
"Can you stay here for the night?"
Because it's such a beautiful phrase
She's afraid the words won't come out right
Don't why I can't believe she wants to be with me
But for now I'll put my doubts aside
One more drink and then some more
And then we'll go
And please don't speak, cause I already know
That we're both just pa**engers
On trains going in opposite ways
And tomorrow we'll get off
And find some other place we can stay
