The Genesis and Greek creation are both similar and different in how they literary archetypes. Both the Greek and Genesis creation stories utilize the problem. “Cronus swallowed his own sons as they were born.” (Greek) This concrete detail proves that Cronus is filling the role of the villain archetype. He lust for powers is so great that he selfishly sacrifices his own children to keep the throne. “You won't die, God knows that the moment you eat from the tree, you'll see what's really going on.” This shows that the snake is filling the role of the villain archetype. The snake wants eve to be a villain like the snake. These examples show both stories have similarities of the villain archetype.
The Greek and Genesis creation stories both contrast with archetypes of the hero. “Being gods they were harmful. They were thankful to Zeus and made him their leader.” This proves that Zeus is filling the role of the hero archetype. Zeus helped his brothers and the prisoners to help him against the titans. “God created the Heavens and Earth-all you see, all you don't see”. This proves that God is filling the role of the hero archetype. God have created the earth, plants, trees, animals, including the humans. These examples shows that they are the hero archetypes.
