The way you think results in your outcome
So when you're taught to expect to never amount to anything
More than a f**up your whole life and stereotyped
As jobless on welfare and with five kids in diapers
Is no surprise that you blame your failures on your lack of ability
A so-called blessing that you'll never have
And your acceptance of this sh** is only the half
Cuz the f**in' problem also lies in you
To stop settling for what you've been told to do
Over and over by some rich white men from generation on down
And nodding your head to the forefathers that f**ed you so good
And for so long and kept you from seeing, feeling, thinking, and questioning
Why we commonly vote for a white president
