The forest is dark but the moon is clear
My feet move, I fly silently I know my aim, the night’s game
All the same it can happen
My night research prevents the sweet heat from wrapping myself, supporting my feet
I raise my head, laugh at shame, then I proclaim our new flame
And I swallow my tears and my short-lived hopes
I reclaim my twin shadow, the one who doesn't want to glow
And I wallow in self pity which I know
Despondency is so close
I follow a road, I can't go
My heart beats so that I can hardly speak
Even if I leave, I won’t find the creek
Near to the sea, the birds sing their lovely words and our hymn
It will storm and blow all night, I hear the wind
The forest is wild and calms my feelings
It breaks my chains, and explains that anyway, it will happen
And I swallow my tears and my short-lived hopes,
I reclaim my twin shadow, the one who doesn't want to glow
And I wallow in self-pity which I know
Despondency is so close I follow a road, I can't go
My own sway goes astray, all the way my wish fails
No way but just the wait, when will I get there?
