Harry was walking in from Quidditch practice on a rainy day, and he was leaving tracks of mud on the floor when Nearly Headless Nick started talking to him. Eventually, Nick told Harry that he better leave before Filch catches him leaving the tracks of mud. He wasn't quick enough, so Filch caught him. He was taking to Filch's office to be reported, but there was a loud ruckus above them. Filch ran upstairs knowing Peeves was causing the commotion, and he forgot about Harry and let him go. Once Harry left the room, Nick told him he convinced Peeves to cause the commotion in order to help Harry.

Harry went to Nick's d**hday party, and he got Hermione and Ron to join him. When they got there, they immediately started to regret their decision. They would have preferred to been at the feast with their friends instead of being around ghosts they don't know. However, a promise is a promise so they tried to keep it. Unfortunately, Nick was still letdown from not being to join the headless team since he wasn't fully headless.

I continued to read "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone." With all the hard practices, Harry was still nervous about the game since the Slytherin team had faster brooms. During the game, the Bludger kept trying to get Harry. It would follow him the entire time. Eventually it hit Harry and he fell, but not before he caught the Snitch. Draco was mad since it was above his head the entire time, but he spent most of the time laughing at Harry.

harry, Ron, and Hermione joined the dueling club, and it hadn't gone as planned. Professor Lockhart and Professor Snape were in charge of teaching the club, and Harry wasn't thrilled since those are his least favorite teacher. Snape partnered Harry with Malfoy, and it didn't go well. Harry did the tickling charm on Draco, and Draco gave Harry the charm that makes your legs move nonstop.
