9.30.13 10.1.13 I'm still reading "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Harry and Ron tried crossing the brick wall to enter the wizard world, but for some reason, it wouldn't let them through. When they realized they missed the train to Hogwarts, they decided to take Ron's dad's flying car. On their way to Hogwarts, their car kept becoming visible, thus muggles were able to see it. When they finally landed, they were attacked by a tree. Eventually, they made their way away from the tree and ended up near the dining hall. Professor Snape caught them and told them that their flying car made it on the news. 10.2.13 Today I read "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Harry and Ron were glad they didn't get expelled, and they were fine with serving detention. They couldn't participate in the feast, so they ate by themselves in Professor Snape's office. After the feast, they went to the Gryffindor common room, and everyone clapped when they walked in except for Hermoine. Everyone was fascinated with what they did, but Hermoine was not pleased.
10.3.13 Today I continued to read "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Harry isn't quite fond of Professor Lockhart because the professor is only interested in fame. He thinks Harry is trying to get admired by everyone else like the professor, but he doesn't want that all. To make matters worse, Harry has been having to deal with quidditch practice so early in the morning, and it leaves him exhausted. Unfortunately, this one boy named Collin is frustrating him so much. He admires Harry so much, and he's everywhere Harry is. He follows him around a lot. 10.4.13 Today I read "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets." Harry and Ron finally served their detentions. Ron had to clean the silver with Filch, and Harry had to help Professor Lockhart answer his fanmail. Harry doesn't really enjoy spending time with Prof. Lockhart. He would have preferred cleaning the silver. During the detention, Harry heard a voice, but it wasn't Lockhart. It scared him a lot because the voice said unpleasant things.
