Capital goes where there's a profit
And profit has no moral judgement
The global market's profit hungry
It lost all humanity
Human lives, human bodies
Bought and sold commodities
Child prostitutes, sweat shops and factories
Exploitation knows no boundries
We sacrified the poor, the powerless
To sustain a consumption that's mindless
We led generations into slavery
We've slaughthered what was left of their dignity
Capital goes where there's a profit
And profit has no moral judgement
The global market's profit hungry
It lost all humanity
Human lives, human bodies
Bought and sold commodities
Child prostitutes, sweat shops and factories
Exploitation knows no boundries
Our governements knew to turn a blind eye
And let the human traffic just go by
Who cares about the children of the losers
As long as ou world shines and glitters
You know that half of the world's population
Lives on less than two bucks a day
Yet all you care about is your comfort
That's the American way
You wanted to believe
We were noble and strong
Well everything is gone dead wrong
This system promised equality
It promised justice and decency
Broken promise
There's no retreat from this reality
And not so many ways to regain humanity
Change never comes that easy
But to rise and fight is a necessity
