The new MacBook Pro (2013) has been improved with battery and with the new and improved OS X Mavericks 10.9. They also have improved more things with the hardware than the look of the laptop. Other than improving the battery life they also installed a better graphics card. And More RAM (8 GB rather than 4 GB).
