9/5/13 Apple's 50 Billionth App Download Contest Apple's 50 billionth app download contest started April 29, 2013 and ends when it hit 50,000,000,050th app download. The grand prize winner gets a $10,000 app store gift card. The winner of the contest was Brandon Ashmore of Mentor, OH, USA. There were other winners but they got a gift card with less money on it. 9/6/13 Apple Developer releases update compatibility for iOS 7 before release Electronic Arts or EA is one of apples developers has released an update yesterday for Real Racing 3 and on the update info it said that “It is now compatible with iOS 7.” Apple announced that iOS 7 will be released between September 10 and September 20 when the iPhone 5s and 5c are released. But EA couldn't wait that long so they decided to realease it now.
